What is your application process?
- Once you view a McKenzie apartment that you love, you can fill out an application online at mckenzie-apartments.com. In the top right corner it says “APPLY NOW” and you can select the property you are applying for. It is a very simple process and you can walk through all the steps. If you have any electronic files that you would like to upload, such as an offer letter or bank statement, you can do that during the application steps. Once you submit, the property manager will run your application and they will be in touch with you shortly! Application fee is $100, which applies towards your security deposit.

What is your security deposit?
- Pets? If so, you will pay a full month rent for your security deposit.
- No Pets? If so, you will only pay ½ month rent for your security deposit.

What is included in my rent price?
- We pay for water, trash, sewer, one underground parking spot, and one underground storage unit (some exclusions may apply). You would pay additional pet fees (if applicable), electric, and gas (if applicable). Some town homes and studio apartments have a little different guidelines at our properties, please confirm what is included with the property manager. We do have representatives for cable and internet companies in Madison if you are looking to add cable and/or internet to your apartment.

What are your pet fees? What properties are pet friendly?

- If you have a dog, we participate in a Poo Prints program. More information is located at the bottom of our pet policy online.

Do you have any property events?
- Typically, every property will have one or two individual property events throughout the year such as Taco Tuesday, Pizza Night, or Grab-and-Go Breakfast! McKenzie Apartment Company always has an annual summer party for all residents to attend!

Do you have any moving companies you partner with?
- Yes! We have a MAC Club discount program you are encouraged to utilize when you are a resident. Upon move in, you will receive a MAC Club card that you can present to our partners for a discount. Do you have an online portal for current residents?
- Yes! We have an online portal for residents where you can pay rent online for free, set up auto withdrawal, and submit maintenance requests. Your property manager will tell you more about this at move in!
