Sharing Common Areas in Apartment Complexes
July 14, 2015
All of our apartment complexes have Club Rooms or common areas that are open for use by residents. These gathering spaces are perfect for smaller parties, family get-togethers or just to hang out in a larger area and different furniture! (Seriously, it’s ok to test out different furniture sometimes.)
Proper Etiquette in Common Areas
As with all shared common areas, it’s important to remember one thing – IT’S SHARED! So, here are some reminders.
Don’t Be Too Noisy
Just like in your own apartment, you try to not annoy neighbors, it’s the same in the Club Rooms. Yes, parties or gatherings can get loud. But, you can help with noise level by keeping music at good level and playing it loudly after 9PM is definitely annoying. It’s also important to remember you are responsible for your guests. This applies to the fitness areas and pools as well.
Don’t Be a Hog
Amenities such as the pool or fitness area or gathering areas are places for EVERYONE to use. As we learned when we were young, sharing is essential! Always be respectful and watch your time on certain workout equipment or when testing out the common area couch, falling asleep on it! Remember to book the larger common areas for larger parties. Contact your property manager.
Clean-Up!
Don’t forget to clean-up after yourself. We love when residents spend time in the Club Rooms, but no one likes cleaning-up after someone else. Be courteous and kind and neighborly!
