- Farmer’s Market on the Capitol Square
Maybe you’ve been down to the square every single Saturday, or maybe you haven’t had the chance to stop yet. Regardless, going to the Farmer’s Market on Saturday down by the Capitol is a Madison must! They have lots of delicious bakery items, coffee, and of course fresh fruit and veggies. You will not be disappointed!

- Mallards Baseball Game
Whether you like baseball or not, a Madison Mallard’s game is a great time out with friends and family. They have delicious cheese curds, ice cream and plenty of fun things for children to do. Make sure you stop out before their season ends to enjoy a game!

- Shopping & Lunch/Dinner at Hilldale
Who doesn’t love to enjoy their day off shopping and brunching? We sure do! Make sure to go enjoy Hilldale and all the restaurants and shopping they have to offer. To name a few of our favorite restaurants: Café Hollander and Pasqual’s Mexican. Also, you can enjoy a Gigi’s Cupcake for dessert! 😊

- Rent Kayaks or SUP’s on Lake Mendota or Lake Monona
If you enjoy going out on the water, make sure you try the Stand Up Paddleboards or the Kayaks that are able to be rented to anyone. They offer very reasonable rates and you can pick the amount of time you would like to use it. A few hours out on a kayak sounds so relaxing, count me in!

- Enjoy Dinner/Drinks at the Terrace: Memorial Union
Typically, on Friday and Saturday there will be some live music at the Memorial Union, overlooking Lake Mendota. It’s always packed with children, families and friends enjoying some drinks and food. If you need any recommend, the cheese curds are absolutely delicious. The Terrace at Memorial Union is the perfect spot to sit outside and take in all that Madison, WI has to offer!
